What if
"What about little microphones? What if everyone swallowed them, and they played the sounds of our hearts through little speakers, which could be in the pouches of our overalls? When you skateboarded down the street at night you could hear everyone's heartbeat, and they could hear yours, sort of like sonar. One weird thing is, I wonder if everyone's hearts would start to beat at the same time, like how women who live together have their menstrual periods at the same time, which I know about, but don't really want to know about. That would be so weird, except that the place in the hospital where babies are born would sound like a crystal chandelier in a houseboat, because the babies wouldn't have had time to match up their heartbeats yet. And at the finish line at the end of the New York City Marathon it would sound like war."

Relocation + Party
So we've just finished moving the gallery to the new space. It's only 5mins away from the old one, but on a more bustling street, closer to Central. My favorite thing about it is the 200sq ft balcony where we can have regular Mischmasch meetings and gatherings.
I haven't gotten around to taking better photos yet. But here's one...

And if you're in town on March 25, come to our party:

draw me a thought
Today started with a coffee that had an elephant swimming in it.

I think all paint brushes should be yellow. Please stop making grayish blue ones, or dark red ones, it's making me ANGRY! Let's stop fooling around and go back to yellow!

As of this morning, the homeless lady on Mercer St is back! I don't know where she went for the past month. But today she's back to sipping ice lemon tea and popping bubble wraps. Life is back to normal. She looked at me today: hair in my mouth, laptop bag, cheap coffee, stomping in 5inch heels, I think she approves of me. I think she is the happiest person in the neighborhood.

Australia, I love you because of this song.
I'm in transit
But I'm stranded on this boat
And I pledge myself allegiance
To a better night's sleep at home....
